Children's Heart Federation
The Children’s Heart Federation is dedicated to helping children with congenital or acquired heart disease and their families in the UK and Ireland. We are a parent-led charity consisting of 22 organisations, all of which are registered charities whose main aim is the support of families of children with heart conditions.
We aim to improve the quality of life of children and young people living with congenital and acquired heart disease by providing information and working to gain recognition of their needs and ensure adequate resources are available to meet them by:
• providing information and support
• promoting effective services for their care and treatment
• campaigning to improve the clinical and social care of those affected by congenital and acquired heart disease
• raising awareness of the needs of children with heart conditions and their families.
Our vision is of a society in which all children with congenital heart disease have both their medical and social needs met so that they can live life to the full. www.chfed.org.uk

Heart Line Association
HeartLine Association supports children with heart disorders and their families throughout UK and Ireland, whatever the condition, wherever it is treated. Founded in 1979, we have a particular concern that children who do not present with a heart condition at a very young age often have their problem, whether congenital or acquired, overlooked. This does not just apply to the diagnosis of arrhythmia, but the care pathways and established services which are not fashioned to their needs. Our website includes a forum for all and membership of the Association is accessible from there: www.heartline.org.uk
Heart Rhythm Society
The Heart Rhythm Society is an international leader in science, education, and advocacy for cardiac arrhythmia professionals and patients, and a primary information resource on heart rhythm disorders. Its mission is to improve the care of patients by promoting research, education, and optimal health care policies and standards.
Heart for Life
Heart for Life was established in 2010 to offer a comprehensive, high quality heart screening service to diagnose unidentified heart disease and cardiac conditions. Heart for Life use tests and procedures recommended by the International Olympic Committee, the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology and FIFA. Heart for Life believes that all school children should be offered free heart screening and has set up a research programme to examine the feasibility of doing so.
